Please follow the links below to various projects. The first, Moka Meditations, is about coffee, a thing I love. This short premiered at Crystal Bridges Short Film Festival in 2016.

The second film, Into the Vortex, is an ethnographic film related to my dissertation fieldwork in Sedona, AZ. (You’ll need a password for this project: vortices.) This film premiered at the Flatland Film Festival in 2017.

The third film, (re)HUMAN(ize) is a documentary short about disconnection in healthcare, especially radiology, and how patient stories help heal that disconnection. This film premiered at the Lifescreenings International Film Festival in 2019.

The fourth film, Nightshift Screensavers, is a no-budget fictional short that engages questions about technological control and human disconnection. This film premiered at the Flatland Film Festival in 2019.

The fifth film/video essay, The Sword & The Shield (2020, is a scholarly collaborative project with Stewart M. Hoover and Hugo Cordova. This video essay tracks the history of American white Protestant film production since the early 20th century. Password: sword

The sixth project is short experimental video essay, Breakfast (2020). It is inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic and the discourse around “essential” workers.
